Pennies Being Melted Using the Heat of the Sun Focused Through a Fresnel Lens

The Let’s Melt This channel melted some pennies using the heat of the Sun by focusing it through a Fresnel lens.

Melting pennies! We took a couple of pennies and placed them under extreme heat provided by a fresnel lens which is basically a giant magnifying glass. The solar power provided by the sun allowed us to melt a penny very quickly!
